Bank of Singapore makes three DPM hires

The private banking arm of OCBC has appointed a trio of portfolio managers.

The agreement is intended to boost the bank’s financial intermediaries’ assets under management.

Asia fund selectors are positive about private markets, but deal flow and volumes indicate they’re also cautious.

Teresa Lee previously worked at Bank of Singapore, Standard Chartered and ABN Amro Private Bank.

The bank has hired a new head of one of its teams responsible for southeast Asia as well as two senior relationship managers for the NRI market.

Lynn Ong has joined a newly created team in Bank of Singapore’s financial intermediaries, family office and wealth advisory unit.

Owi Ruivivar has been parachuted into the newly created role having previously worked at GIC.

Bank of Singapore’s new independent investment advisory council will support the chief investment office’s research capabilities.

Jack Wong was most recently head of premier private client in north Asia at OCBC Bank having joined them in October 2015.
